Hello all:

I appreciate if anyone can point me to the right direction as to figure out how Macola calculates the following percentage fields avg_rej_item_pct, avg_lead_tm, avg_days_late, and late_lines_ytd in APVENFIL_SQL. The current numbers for our vendors are extremely high and we have no way to figure out why. I was trying to pick one vendor and take the sum of all the reject quantity divided by the the sum of all the received quantity but it doesn't match the avg_rej_item_pct number.

Thanks.

Those fields are updated when "purge closed POs" is run in PO. This is not well thought out, since most purchasing people have several years of POs on file because you lose the ability to view POs when you purge. You can only run the po line history, which has terrible keys in the file & it takes forever to run those reports. I have asked that the program be changed to update at the time of PO receiving, but I'm sure it's not very high on the "enhancement" list. To get better statistics, you should write your own report to analyze poordlin or polinhst.
