You should be fine. The ASA still has some kinks to work out. I have heard several issues with the throughput Cisco Advertises and what is actual. The 515 is a good choice because you can take advantage of the latest code with that model. Also when you do make the changeover to the ASA the configuration should almost be transparent. Alot of vendors will take you old equipment as a trade in also.
