i am programming an 0x32 and sending it to one of my remote sites. how long will settings stay without power to the unit ?

NVRAM is Non-Volatile Memory. I have seen KSUs that have been shelved for over 6 months boot up with full programming. I would think it would last a very longtime. Not sure if there is a spec for it.

I am sure it will last for the time period you are talking about.

thanks ,good to know, thought i read somewhere that it was 3 days

I have had them last for months, but they are warranted for 72 hours. The key is to keep it plugged it say overnight when you first program it up so that the cap is fully charged when you ship it. New installs can go bad if site looses power for an extended time soon after programming is done. Ugh.
