I am using DocTester RAM diagnostic software (available from siimtester.com) to burn in 256M of SDRAM. They suggest just letting it loop, but no amount of time is specified. Any opinions as to what is a good amount of time ?

A 24 hour loop burn in should be enough time to tell if the RAM is good or bad. I use Troubleshooter (diagnostics) and run it for 24 hours here. It gives us a pretty accurate test results. Usually RAM fails within the first few tests.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply - 24 hours sounds reasonable. Also, in case any one was interested, I apologize for misspelling simmtester.com in my original post.
