I'm configuring a C110, single 120Mhz proc, 512M mem ...

I started applying the QPK patch bundle (~300Mb) yesterday morning, and the sucker's been going for almost an entire day now! Is this normal/expected behaviour for a machine of this class? The last thing swinstall said was "* Beginning Execution". Top shows swagent eating 98% of CPU for a bit over 1300 minutes now.

Something's gone wrong......

I would interrupt swinstall, swremove any of the quality pack that it's put in, if it put in anything at all, check the swinstall.log and find out what the problem was and then start again.

Hi Pappyd,
It should not take this long. As Clare says something went wrong.

Thanks for the info .. swagent was hung, I ended up starting over, installing the SD bundle first, and now the QPK seems to be going OK
