How long it will take to install Crystal Enterprise -9.

Hello,

I am very good at Crystal Reports. But I do not have knowledge on Enterprise 9 and I was asked by manager that how much time will takes to install CE and ready for work on that.

Initially we got CD to install in stand alone machine, later we are going to install in server. But either way can some give me best estimated time will take for installation.

I am also giving details about system configurations:

desktop is XP pro. (Recently we moved from NT to XP)
SQL Server 7 is database.
Looks like I should have IIS on my stand alone mechine.

Apart from above stated do I need anything more? Do I get any problem with about configurations?


I am badly looking for answers from you guys, please help me.

Hi,
For CE to really function it should be installed on a server - However, XP Pro running as a server imitator might work but first:
READ the docs on the CD for supported hardware and for configuration and installation info ( it is a complex system and you need to know quite a bit about it before trying to set it up).

That said, give it a try after reading the docs and have fun...
