How long for a load after restore?

I performed a restore from a full backup and now the database says it's loading and it greyed out instead of yellow (SQL 2000). It's been 3 hrs now, how long will a 950mb database take to fully load?

First you may want to refresh your connection to see if it is not already do. If it is still in this state drill down in Enterprise Manager to Management..SQL Server Logs..Current and take a look at what percentage complete your restore of the database is at. If it is a 950mb DB ... you should see several records in this log w/ varying percentage complete marks.
