Hey gang

Im in the UK been working for software development firm for about 2 years now. I am considering doing a couple of MCP

1 in VB 6 distributed apps and another in Designing secure Win 2K networks. Both being useful to my current climate. Im just curious if I was to getthose how long do they last. Ive heard rumours about 2 years or something like that.

Whats the official thing

Thanks

Nev G

AFAIK, with Microsoft's recent decision not to decertify professionals when updated exams are released, you will not lose your certification credential for VB6-Distributed when the VB.NET exams are released. Thus, you'll retain your MCP status for good.....or until Microsoft revises their policy again. Jon Hawkins

I belive the 2 years is for the CompTIA tests... since they were running out of people intrested in having an A+, Network+, and Internet+.

- Hey how many A+ does it take to screw in a light bulb?
- 1, but he has to do it every two years to make sure he remembers how
