I just founnd that I can only
print modified time of a file by ls -lc ,
but how can I know what time a file was created ?

Thanks

The only time Solaris reports is the last time the file was modified. The only thing you could try would be to go through backup tapes and see when the file first appeared.
You would really need the information badly to go to that much trouble.
