Hi guys...kinda confused now. I know it's a javascript forum but maybe you're a bit more familiar with the issue. I have embedded simple 3 flash buttons in my site. One of the buttons has link index.php. The link can only be assigned through dreamweaver in edit options, then the buttons have .swf extention and inbuilt link that cannot be seen in the code of the page - just param names and embed etc. I have added to a button that leads to index.php additional param name with another link i.e.

<param name="link" value="some page" / >

Then after that I have erased this addional param name..but the button still invoked this page...? How come. I have uploaded a backup copy of AC run active content...and still the button links to the modified page...so after that I have overwrote entire site from my backup....and STILL the button shows the wrong page...what is wrong ? Regards.

Probably something in your flash file, for which I suggest you post in the forum250

I assume you recreated the swf file after editing the flash button right?

Hi, the button wasn't created in Flash at all. They are the Dreamweaver assets in this case. They all come up as .swf files and you can only edit them within dreamweaver even though they are .swf. You can edit the font ,link and the skins. That's pretty it. I assume when I changed its parameter in the page's code the page itself must have cached it somewhere 'cuz the backup copy doesn't turn it back...

The fix has turned out to be deletion of the files from the host and putting backup on a 'clean' - overwriting didn't help in this case..
