How is Replication working for you?

I am designing an application which seems to call for replicated databases. Transaction volume will be only 50 or 60 per day from each of maybe 4 remote locations. I expect conflicting updates to be a seldom or never issue. I'm thinking of once a day dial up for synchronization.<br>

Our programs can run equally well with either Access or SQL Server 7.<br>
<br>
I'm looking for anyone's experiences which would point us to either Access of SQL Server 7, or maybe to reconsider using replication at all.<br>
