We have a 10 tape exabyte library running against Backup Exec 10d. The tapes are labeled according to the slot they will be in, #1, #2, etc.
I import the tapes and manually label them how I would like them to appear. When I run the backup jobs, sometimes they are relabeled with a new label. It seems to be following the guideline laid out under media management. I would like to repeat, though, that this does not happen all the time, just sometimes. So, how do I prevent it from happening? How do I make it keep the defined labels?
