Hi,

It looks that the IPO is not properly responding on ISDN causes.
If there is a cause 34 (No channel available) send from the network to the IPO the IPO shut take a alternative route in the lease cost routing. This is not happening. There is only a alternating route if the trunk (bri) is disconnected from the pbx or the two B-channels are busy.

Haze someone same explanation for this behaviour?

Paul

Ask Avaya! This forum has nothing to do with creating software for the IP Office, we just have to install and maintain them and therefore there will be no answer here.

Intrigrant,

This has noting to do with creating software, this is has moor to do with not working with the ETSI protocol on ISDN. If you telecom provider is sending a cause 34 on your ISDN trunk then the IPO must respond properly and act as a PBX. And look for a alternating rout that is in may case a IP-trunk to a other site.

See, the software in the IP Office has to do that. Avaya builds the software, including the responses to ETSI signals. So, ask Avaya, you will not find your answer here.

The fall back option In least cost routes currently only wotks if the lines are physicaly busy.

I would sugest a feature request to Avaya
