How is Framework Manager metadata model saved on database?

Hi,

In Cognos 8 the Framework Manager metadata model is saved under model.xml

To be used when the package is published, I guess the model must be saved in some way on the database server (I am on SQL server 2005).

My problem is I cannot retrieve any part of my metadata model in the CognosContentStore database.

Any hint how I can retrieve info about my metadata model in the database?

I think there is a way in SDK to retrieve it. But I haven't used so can't help further.
