How is captured the lpt1 data?

Hi All,
Our institute have an old embrosser printer (without manual :-() connected to port LPT1. How can I capture the lpt communication while using the printer by another program (WinBraille)?

Thanks, I have known this URL. Unfortunatelly it's not enough for me. Probably I misunderstand the soul of the LPT.

I put a picture also about it . The values of the registers a are initialized but do not change while the emboss command is running.

What do you think the lpt-capturing and com-capturing are analogous problems? If it's true I'll study this URL:

My problem has became theoretical one, because I find the possibility "print to file". It's enough to me now to continue my work.
