but run dreamweaver ..

You must have either Personal Web Server (Win 98) or IIS (NT, 2000) installed, and you have to put the file in the

http://wwwroot

of your web application (usually c:\Inetpub\

http://wwwroot\yourfile.asp)

Also while personal web server is running, or IIS goto your file by typing in

http://localhost/yourfile.asp
