how i reinstall my USB port?

Hi my name is Mariano & my problem is the next...
I have windows XP.
Short time ago i had a virus. I did reinstall my windows XP with the repair option of CD. But now my USB ports is not working. I tried reinstalling it with Intel´s CD but it did not work.
How uninstall USB port and reinstall it?
I need instal an HP printer by USB...

i did it!!!
the problem was the automatic installator of Intel´s CD. I don´t know why, but manually i installed it very easy. I suppose the CD was not good.
