how I get the full details of hardware configuration of SMS’s Clients?

Dear All

In our network we don’t use any brand desktops (like HP or DELL…) so I installed Systems Management Server 2003 in a test lab to find if it can collect hardware inventory as we expect.

But unfortunately when I run the following query against SMS database

select * from v_GS_MOTHERBOARD_DEVICE the results returned and some of those results below

Description0 Motherboard
DeviceID0 Motherboard
Name0 Motherboard
PrimaryBusType0 PCI
RevisionNumber0 NULL
SecondaryBusType0 ISA
Status0 NULL
StatusInfo0 NULL

While the motherboard for this PC (PT-CTI-SA01) is GIGAPYTE but SMS didn’t recognize its kind or the manufacture????

So my question now, how I can get the full details (deep details) of hardware configuration of SMS’s Clients???
