Can anybody give me some advice, how to create in Clipper 5.3 biggest txt or bin file then 65535?
I use f... functions (fcreate, fwrite, ...), but this functions works only to size 65535. I know also about posibility "set alternate to ..." but it dosn't solve my problem. Does anybody know some different solution?

Thank you
Petr

You can create files much larger than 64k.
The limit you refer to is the max stringsize
So devide what you have to write into max 64k stringsize and write these strings to a file without limitations up and until the filesize of 2GB.
