How hard is it to replace a SCC card in an option 11c?

Can you give me a high level overview of what is needed? Is there licensing conserns? We have a bunch of schools that all had similar option 11c's but only a few remain. One of the remaining systems is restarting intermittently and I want to see if I can isolate the hardware. I notice they do not have compact flash cards. Can I do an XBK from the old card & XRT to restore the database?

if its the SSC card & not the S'ware DB you could just pop the DB on to a new SSC move over the dongle & switch back on.

As for licensing

SLT (will give you tns & license keys)

PKG (will give you licensed packages)

& yes a XBK & XRT will be fine

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
