I am doing some research for a UK company and was wondering whether I could get some advice.
The company has BEA as its application platform and uses it for backend processes that allow clients to get customer details online.
They are now looking at either making their own e-commerce shopping platform or outsourcing the whole thing to a partner. They do not have their own warehouse capabilities and so, if they do it inhouse, they will still need to outsrouce the logistics.
Therefore, they would be looking at the Weblogic Portal solution. Does anyone have any thumb up or nightmare stories about the plus/minus points of implementing this?
