Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has some software that I could use to extract a batch of emails out of exchange 2003 or outlook using Imap or something; so that they're saved as .msg files?

Thanks,

furtech,

You should use the "drag & Drop" feature. Resize the OL window and create a folder(i.e. in MyDocuments or?) to receive them & open it. Arrange so that you can select drag from OL to the receiving window.
Select using shift for contigous groups ir Ctrl for non contigous groups drag them to the folder created. You will find that they have been copied as individual files and are *.msg format.

Caveat: If some files are titled identically on separate moves you could overwrite the existing msg.

Hope you find this helpful

furtech,

Glad you found it helpful, beats needing an application.

Just one of those little, forgotten items.
