How does the Snapshot policy feature work on Networker

Gang,

I have two questions about the snapshot policy feature on the legato netwrorker. How does it work? The storage engineer has enabled the snaps on celerra. How would enabling the snapshot policy on the legato networker affect the systems in terms of space and cost?

By the way, I am using networker 7.2.1.
