How does the experience audit work?

Some of my IT experience is with defunct companies. Another past employer has been bought, merged, moved, and renamed. I'm sure many others have this same problem.


Naturally I am wondering how this whole audit process works? What happens if they can't verify that I did a certain job somewhere?

If the needed requirements cannot be verified, you'll be recognized as an ISC2 associate.
