I have a "Start no earlier than..." constraint on a particular task. I have not been able to set the task start date to the same date as the constraint date. Why is this? I would understand if the date was before the start date, but on the same day? Liam Morley

Are you doing this through the GUI? When I do this, the start date is automatically set to be the same as the constraint date, I don't need to separately set the start date.
