We are using Cognos 6.0 and building a catalog from a Oracle database that uses unicode (NCHAR and NVARCHAR)data types for all of the character fields in the database. We are unable to see any character fields in the Catalog nor in Impromtu. For some reason Cognos does not recognize the data types, NCHAR and NVARCHAR. Is there a option to choose within Cognos to set this up or is there a file to modify?
