I'm using MS Access as the frontend. And I've read where it say's Crystal can use the query generated from the GUI to populate the Crystal report. Is that how it works?

If you have an Access query, Crystal can use that.

Or you can pass a code based recordset to Crystal, you didn't state what you wanted to do.

hi synapsevamp...
i'm developing some custom crystal reports for a system done in Access. And I noticed that the standard reports did'nt have any parameter fields. So, I was wondering how the data was being created for the reports when I read that a DAO connection would create a query set in Access for Crystal. So for the reports that are being generated inside the Access GUI I'll need to use that DAO dataconnection.

How can I launch my custom reports from within an Access GUI interface? I don't have access to there system. I want to create a simple Access interface to launch my Crystal customized reports.

Thanx
