I am trying to do an insert, can I use Nolock or rowlock to get around a trigger or a no Duplicate in a query?

insert dbo.tblInItemUom
(ItemId,Uom,ConvFactor,UPCcode)
select
ProductCode,
ProductCaseId,
Multiplier,
ProductCaseUPCCode

From COFFEE.dbo.vueProductCase

Server: Msg 90010, Level 16, State 1, Procedure trgInItemUomI, Line 11
(trgInItemUomI) The value 'MLAM' must exist in 'tblInItem.ItemId'. Unable to insert.

Can you send the table structure for botht the tables to have a better understanding ?

It will give a broader picture to help you out.

well,
seems like referential integrity / constraint problem. Detailed table structure is what we need.

B.R,
miq
