How do you use ACLast? I want to know the value of the last record in the detail of a report.

Hiya,

DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acLast

Will point to the last record.

In the Format event of the report footer, check the value(s) in the control(s) you want to inspect.

Private Sub ReportFooter_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
MsgBox Me("ControlName")
End Sub

It will return the value of that control in the last record displayed on the report.

Good luck
