How do you upload a Brocade firmware file to FTP site?

How do you apload a directory to windows FTP server?
I was trying to upgrade Brocade switch Firmware. Every time I try to apply the firmware, it errors out saying locating file failed.
How do you upload the directory such as v5.3.0 to an FTP server first?

what you could do is run an ftp server on you laptop,I find this is the easiest way for upgrading a brocade.
Then you place the folder in the root as you defined in your FTPserver config
