How do you update database fields? 1

I have added a field to a view in SQL Server being used by Crystal Reports. How can I update Crystal Reports so that it sees the new field?

Note that this is in Visual Basic 6 and the VB datasource has already been refreshed, but apparently this does nothing for the report.
