I have an old router that I want to pull the config off of and put on another and I'm very new at this. Sorry for this!!

You can use the "copy startup-config tftp"/"copy tftp startup-config" if you're set up with TFTP, otherwise just do a "sh run" on the old router and copy the contents to Notepad, clean it up, and paste it into your telnet program on the new router.

You'll need to manually do a "no shut" on interfaces on the new router, they're admin-down by default from Cisco.

You can't. Images for the 2600 aren't compatible with the 2800 routers. You need to get a 2800 image with the same or similar features as what your 2600 is running.

Just to clarify...I'm referring to the IMAGE as in the IOS. If you're just doing the CONFIG, try what jpm121 suggests but be careful because there will be differences in how the interfaces are identified in the 2800 versus the 2600.
