I am trying to supress a row of data but only when a blank value is returned in a report field.

Is there a formula for this or somr conditional formating?

Go to the Section Expert for the section you want to suppress. Click on the formula button next to the Suppress checkbox. In the formula, using the field that you want to check, enter something like:

IsNull({table.MyDateField})

-Dell

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Hi,
Try, in your record selection formula:
If a text data field:
Code:
Not IsNull({Table.Field}) OR
Trim({Table.Field}) <> ''
If Numeric:
Code:
Not IsNull({Table.Field})
If a Date ( actually DATE type) try :
Code:
{Table.DateField} <> Date(0,0,0)
