How do you stop email from opening 2

Hi in reference to MS Out Look Express 5,after receiving email I right click on it for removal however the email opens before I can delete it. Question O Great Keepers of Computer Knowledge. How do you delete without the email opening? Thanks gypsy200

Where is the Preview pane and how do i disable the automatic download of these files? I am having a similar problem.

It will vary slightly with the version of OE, but you will probably find the preview pane setting in View, Layout. There's really no way to disable downloading of the files except to create a rule that deletes off the server.
