I am working in UNIX and would like to "kill" the nsrexecd process. Is there a way to restart this without rebooting?

Thanks
Brad

nsr_shutdown which should be in your path, if not it'll be in the bin directory of the Networker installation.

/etc/rc.nsr to start up

Hi,

in directory /etc/rc3.d (or perhaps in /sbin/rc3.d, depending on the flavour of your unix) there should be a file with a name like S94NSRstartstop, or a similar name.

Go there, as root, and type:
./S94NSRstartstop stop
./S94NSRstartstop start

hope this helps

Hello,

Thanks to both of you. I was able to recycle the daemon.

Thanks Again.

On Solaris, you can also:
/etc/init.d/networker start
/etc/init.d/networker stop
