I am in design view and under the criteria, I need for the dates to be between whatever range I choose. How do I state this in the criteria?

jlp:

It's pretty straight forward. Use this in your criteria:

>=01/01/00 And <= 12/31/00

This will get you all matching records between the two dates. You'll notice that Access will include pound signs around the dates after you leave the field.

>=#01/01/00# And <= #12/31/00#

That's automatic, you don't need to type them in.
