I have installed two nic in our server and Iam able to gain access to the other lan and router to the internet. However it seems that the second nic fitted (to gain access to internet)stops client pc from logging onto the domain. They can only log on when I disable the 2nd nic. Does anyone know of any good resources to solving this problem?

It's really starting to piss me off!.

Cheers.

you should check the irq's if they are conflicting with each other....
if that don't work, try to put in another NIC that have the latest update....
try that...
hope it works...

Here is something to try. First, as cbbxxxd said, try removing the problem nic and replacing it. Also try having your NETLOGON Service use the administrator account to interact with the desktop. (For troubleshooting purposes only) If that works you are having a profile problem. Also with one nic card out or disabled see if the lsass.exe exists in C:\WINNT\System32. If it does, install or enable the second card, configure a new Network Place for it and then see if lsass.exe is still present.
