How do you set ring volume on DTR1-HM1 analog set

anyone? anyone? Buehler?

I am stumped by a stupid little single line phone. NEC doc says it has 4 settings BUT it does not say how to set it. This is connected to a 2000 IPS (r3300). grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

BTW - We have tried the UP / DOWN Arrow buttons while the terminal was ringing.
