How do you send a large InDesign documnet as an A3 pdf?
I have an 80Mb InDesign doument covered with text, lines etc on top aof a 150cm x 100cm jpeg.
Before I send this large file to the client he would like to see a smaller version for checking.
Yesterday I stitched together 9 screen saver shots in photoshop to email a jpeg, but this is not the way to go.
I have asked around and sending it via my printer at a reduced size seems the way to go but as I listen to my laptop whiring away like a washing machine on spin cycle for 20-30 minutes I wonder if anyone can give me the step by step simple foolproof answer to this problem.
Thankyou Nick

Create a PDF file from your InDesign work.

Create a new InDesign document sized for A3.

Place the PDF you just created in the A3 document and scale appropriately.

Export your A3 PDF file.

Thankyou Jimoblak!
That sounds so simple it must work!
I shall get on with it right away.

Best wishes from Cornwall England
