I'd like to directly call Tcl/Tk from a large C++ program to run a Tcl script for getting some info from the user. I've set up my Tcl script to bring up a GUI window with the proper widgets, but I need to interface it to my C program (which must be the main program).<br>

I've heard that it is possible to call Tcl from C, but what are the steps involved? <br>

I'm using IRIX ver 6.5, Tcl/Tk ver 8.0.
