How do you route a call to Messaging (Embedded) to get menu treatment?

I know I can build vectors to do create menus, however, what is the preferred method of routing a call to the voicemail system to receive treatment there? I tried programming a phone with a coverage path of 1 ring and it gets there, but it takes a phone license to do so.

I was told you can do it with a hunt group, but haven't found the right combination yet?

I tried doing a vector and writing a command to transfer the call to voicemail, but it doesn't seem to carry the original ID of the call, so it the call gets to voicemail, but it doesn't know where to go.

if you have your subscribers created in cmm , you will need to populate your public unknown numbering x (x= extn digit)
with your extension number length and trunk group of the cmm
