How do you restore permission settings?

Hi:

i have backup my data files using Retrospect.
After restorating the files from tape, i lost
my previous Windows 2000 NTFS permission settings.
Can anyone give me some comments on this problem?

If you have backed it up using retrospect, why have you posted a problem in the Backup Exec forum?

There is a tick box to preserve permissions.
