How do you restore Compressed Netware files to NT?

I have Backup Exec 8.5 running on NT 4 Server and I need to Restore DDS3 Data from a old Netware Server Backup Tapes that where created with Backup Exec 8.5 for Netware(The Netware Server no longer exist)... The BE 8.5 will catalog the Tape but it will not restore anything due to Compression. I do not have access to Netware any longer....
Am I hosed?

Have you tried installing Novell's NetWare client or MS's Gateway (and Client) Services for NetWare on your NT box?
