How do you restart an Apache web server under Red Hat?

I am new to Linux and can't seem to restart it.....
 
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart is the best way. hang around and watch for errors. obviously, it's httpsd if your running an ssl server.

you could also try:

#service httpd restart
