How do you reset NV ram for HP 3600n

I have an Hp 3600n Laser Jet and was wondering if there is a way to reset the nv ram. Reason being is its telling me one of my toner is empty but it is not. Think it just does this after a certain amount of prints. Being the toners are so expensive i would rather not waste it. Is there any way to overide it to thinking its a new cartridge?

Remove all toner cartridges from printer and check the toner cartride lock on right inside of the printer. I would assume that one of the locks is broken.

I don't have any menu map on this printer, but on the diagnostics menu there should be an option where you can select "disable cartridge check". When you are in diagnosics mode you can switch places on cartridges or remove them completely without any alarms from the printer. Now you can check if the problem is the cartridge or the cartridge slot.
