For every email I open there are header messages that I don't want to see. You know the headers that have the smtp and relay address. I am using Eudora 6. How do you disable these headers from the email?
Then hold down the Alt key and click on the resulting link, then click OK in the resulting dialog box. Now open a new message and it should display normally.
This does not help, the box pops up with default value of 0 and current value of 0 with new value of 0 and when I click OK and open a new message nothing happens
No I don't but as far as the headers go on most emails they are not there, but anything that starts with X for example X-Mailer will show. Would this have anything to do with multiple personalities?
Close down Eudora and edit the Eudora.ini file found in your Eudora folder. Look for a setting named TabooHeaders.
This is a list of headers which you do not want shown, sent or otherwise. Add to this X-Mailer and X-Sender, but NOTE that this entry has a limit of 250 characters MAX, so you may have to remove one of the sillier headers (like X-Juno) to get under the 250 limit. Save your changes, start up Eudora.
The second way is to open a new email and type in <x-eudora-option:TabooHeaders>, then hold down the ALT key and click on it. You can then edit the entries in the tiny box. Click to save.
With either method, your NEWLY sent messages will not have either either.
