I have a machine I removed Windows 2000 server from but it still comes up with the dual boot screen. Is there any way to get rid of it? What about format mbr??
If your current OS is windows 9x, then just boot to DOS, and at the c:\ prompt, type: fdisk /mbr (NOT format /mbr).
You can then delete the boot.ini file. Cheers,
Jim
