Hi all,

We are trying to set-up a handful of old PC's for use by a local HR department. They want to use them exclusively for benefits access in their break rooms.

What we would like to do is have the systems boot and go directly into an IE session. The user should not be able to leave IE without the system restarting.

I've seen this done before but can't seem to find any information on how to do it.

We tried to use Kiosk Mode but that hasn't worked out since the user will still need access to the Address bar at times.

The systems are running Win 98 and IE 6.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Chris

bcastner,

That looks like the very tool we need. I can't seem to locate it though...the link you provided and those in the pdf you referenced are both dead links. In fact, every link I can find so far to the tool through Google ends up at the same dead links.

Any idea on where else I might be able to look? I've checked the Webjunction and paccomputing websites mentioned in the pdf you listed. I've also tried searching through the Bill Gates Foundation website and of course through google. All with no luck.

Thanks!
Chris
