How do you program a 2616 2

I want to put hands free on a 2116 key 15. I use cls of hfa but when I try to sync otm the switch give we a sch3683 "For 2x16 set, handsfree Class of Service is defined. Cannot assign key 15 as it is naw a hands free key" Does this mean it is on by default? or am I missing something.

Print the TNB at the command line and you should see if it is on or not.

you won't see anything printed on key 15 but the CLS should say HFA (handsfree allowed). You don't need to assign handsfree to the physical key, just in the CLS.

also check if your using key 15 as any other key then to turn on hfa, you need to nul key 15 1st, ie do a otm change to make that key vacant, then do a change to make it hfa
