I have a mac computer running OS 9 that continues to ask for a username and password for a network drive, each time the computer is booting up. How do I disable the computer from attempting to mount to this network drive permanently? I tried deleting the appleshare folder to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

If your using Mac OS 9- Goto System Folder/Server folder and delete the icon for that server.
Now the computer shouldn't try to mount the server on restarts.

Macs Rule!! Just kidding...

Very cool...and how is this done is OS X? Thanks.
